Request timeout

Request timeout

The Request timeout period defines how long the monitor will wait for the website to respond to the request sent before ‘deciding’ that there’s an issue and that an incident needs to be created.

Please note that the Check frequency must never be set to a shorter amount of time than the Request timeout period, as this would cause an error.

This option is available in API Monitor and HTTP Status Code Monitor.
